Welcome
Terra Sol Garden Center is a full service garden center providing information and inspiration. We specialize in the unusual and the unique and carry a wide selection of plants with an especially large selection of succulents and agaves.
Our garden decor includes many varieties of ceramic pots and containers as well as fountains, statuary, furniture, and much more than you can imagine. Whatever we don't carry on the premises we are happy to try to find and order it for you.
We take pride in our customer service. Our friendly, courteous and knowledgeable staff will ensure your visit is worthwhile.
Terra Sol is located on one-acre in Goleta just off Highway 101. Exit Patterson Road and turn toward the ocean. Make the first right onto Overpass Road and you can't miss us.
About Us
Terra Sol Garden Center has been in business since 2001.
Mike Tully and Margaret Peavey are co-owners and have many years of nursery, landscaping and design knowledge between the two of them gained from education and work experience prior to owning the Terra Sol. Not only do they love the business and coming to work every day, but this attitude and ethic is reflected in the rest of the staff as well.
Lucky for us, Tony Krock is our nursery's succulent buyer and is one of the main reasons why we have the best selection of succulents in the Santa Barbara area. His passion for this group of plants is shared by all of the staff here at Terra Sol, but his obsession with agaves not only exceeds our tastes but goes beyond most plant geeks to the extreme.
We are also gifted with Fernando Villasana, who is our fountain specialist, and has enabled our business to expand greatly in this area. He spends most of his time here setting up all our different varieties and styles of fountains so our customers can actually see and hear how they look and sound while the fountains are running.
The rest of our incredible staff, acting as the backbone of Terra Sol, includes Margarita Huerta, who is in charge of house plants and our local mini garden designer extraordinaire; Cathy Montandon, who merchandises our incredible selection of garden gifts and decor; Sophia Franco takes on the huge task of our colorful and expansive collection of bedding plants; and Michael Chang or Chango, who is in charge of organizing and contacting our special order customers as well as designing the serenity of our shade plant area.
And last but not least is Clare Kinnahan, who is slowly but surely getting us cleaned up and organized.

Coastal Castles are handmade planters for tillandsias and/or succulents made up of locally collected rocks and shells
All materials will be provided
The cost will be $40.00 per parent/child team
Extra children will be $30.00
A light snack will be provided
